Vishnu Sahasranama Opening (First Name)
He is the Universe (Vishvam), He is Vishnu the all-pervading one (Vishnuh), He is the sacred utterance in rituals (Vashatkarah), He is the Lord of past, present, and future (Bhuta-bhavya-bhavat-prabhuh), He is the creator of beings (Bhutakrit), He is the sustainer of beings (Bhutabhrit), He is existence itself (Bhavah), He is the soul of all beings (Bhutatma), He is the one who nurtures all beings (Bhutabhavanah).
Mahamrityunjaya Mantra
We worship the three-eyed Lord Shiva, who is fragrant and nourishes all beings. May He liberate us from the bondage of death, just as a ripe cucumber is released from its vine, and grant us immortality.
Surya Gayatri Mantra
Om, we meditate on the brilliant Sun God, we contemplate the one of great radiance. May that Sun God inspire and illuminate us.
Shiva Dhyana Shloka
I meditate daily upon Lord Mahesh (Shiva), who is resplendent like a silver mountain, who is adorned with the beautiful crescent moon, whose body shines like the most precious gem, who holds an axe, a deer, and makes the gestures of blessing and fearlessness with his hands, whose face is always serene and peaceful, who sits in the lotus posture, who is praised from all sides by gods including Brahma, Vishnu, and Indra, who is absorbed in the truth of meditation, and who has Parvati (Girija) as his consort. I meditate daily upon such Lord Maheshwara.
Gayatri Mantra

Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu

Shiva Panchakshara Stotram
Salutations to Lord Shiva who wears the king of serpents as a garland, who has three eyes, whose body is smeared with sacred ash, who is the supreme Lord, who is eternal, pure, clad in the directions (naked/sky-clad), to that 'Na'kara (syllable Na in Om Namah Shivaya), salutations to Shiva.
Saraswati Vandana
She who is as white as jasmine, moon, snow, and pearl necklace, who is adorned in white clothes, whose hands are decorated with the veena and blessing staff, who sits on a white lotus, who is always worshipped by Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and other gods - may that Goddess Saraswati protect me, who removes all ignorance and dullness.
Hanuman Chalisa Opening Verse

Rama Raksha Stotra Dhyana Shloka
I meditate upon Lord Ramachandra, whose arms reach down to his knees, who holds a bow and arrow, who sits in the lotus posture, who wears yellow garments, whose eyes compete with fresh lotus petals in beauty, whose face is ever serene and cheerful, on whose left lap sits Sita Devi gazing at his lotus-like face, whose complexion is like a dark cloud, who shines with various ornaments, and whose matted locks are beautifully adorned.
Krishna Mool Mantra
