Mantra365 ("we," "our," or "us") operates a platform connecting spiritual seekers ("Users" or "Devotees") with Vedic scholars and priests ("Pandits"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our community members. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices for both Users and Pandits.

Information We Collect

For Seekers (Users)

  • Account Information: Name, phone number, email address, and profile picture.
  • Booking Details: Service types requested (e.g., Satyanarayan Puja), preferred dates, times, and location coordinates for home services.
  • Spiritual Information (Optional): You may choose to provide Gotra, Rashi, or Nakshatra details solely for the purpose of Sankalp (ritual intent) during bookings. This data is sensitive and treated with highest confidentiality.
  • Payment Information: Transaction history. Note: We use secure third-party payment processors; we do not store your full credit card or bank account numbers.

For Pandits (Service Providers)

  • Professional Profile: Full legal name, tradition (e.g., Rigvedic, Smarta), years of experience, languages spoken, and biography.
  • Verification Documents: We collect government-issued ID (Aadhaar, PAN) and educational certificates (degree in Sanskrit/Vedic studies) to verify your identity and expertise. These are for internal verification only and are not shared publicly.
  • Financial Information: Bank account details or UPI IDs to facilitate payouts for completed bookings.
  • Service & Availability: Your service catalog, pricing, and calendar availability.

How We Use Information

  • Service Facilitation: To match Seekers with appropriate Pandits based on tradition, language, and location.
  • Verification & Trust: To validate the credentials of Pandits, ensuring high-quality and authentic spiritual services on the platform.
  • Communication: To send booking confirmations, reminders, and important updates regarding scheduled rituals.
  • Transactions: To process payments from Seekers and payouts to Pandits.
  • Improvement: To analyze usage trends and improve the app experience for all users.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared strictly as follows:

  • Between User and Pandit: When a booking is confirmed, necessary details (Name, Location, Service type) are shared with the Pandit to enable service delivery. The Pandit's name and contact are shared with the User.
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services for payments (e.g., Stripe/Razorpay), cloud hosting (e.g., Supabase/AWS), and SMS delivery.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of Mantra365 users.

Data Security

We employ industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your data. While we strive for absolute security, no digital platform is 100% secure. We encourage users to maintain strong passwords and report any suspicious activity.
